Belated Merry Christmas

Well, the tree was decorated, the Christmas cards were sent and the stockings were hung on the mantel. I wish I would have gotten ALL 8 boxes of decorations out...oh well, maybe next year!
We had our Christmas dinner in Brooksville on December 20. 10 adults and 9 children (ages 10-9 months). That was fun - you didn't know which way to turn when the kids started opening their presents. Sara happened to get some of the wildness on video (you couldn't hear yourself think). We missed Shawn since he was working.
Sara, Caitie and I went to see The Nutcracker at The Opera House by The Lexington Ballet. Marie was danced by Chloe Obert who was one of Sara's previous students at The Lexington School and Caitie's babysitter. Chloe came out to see Caitie after her warm-up. Chloe gave her a tiara to wear during the performance while Caitie gave her a bouquet of flowers.
We had our family dinner on Christmas Eve (different since we had never done that) and then went to church at Immanuel Baptist.
Sara, Shawn, Caitie and Colin opened their presents Christmas morning, went to Shawn's dad's house for lunch, and then came over here to open presents. What a day they had!
Merry first Christmas Colin!
